You can cut them, but be careful with the conductor
An interesting advantage is that the Standard Pads can be
cut to size if desired. This allows you to adjust the surface area when the full square electrode isn’t practical for the chosen position.
There is one important limitation: do not damage or interrupt the electrode’s central conductive connection. Also, keep in mind that a smaller contact surface may make the stimulation feel more concentrated. Therefore, after each change, start again at a low intensity and build up gradually.
Reusable with Proper Care
Although E-Stim Systems formally specifies the pads as a single-use product, the manufacturer indicates that they can be used multiple times with careful handling. After use, gently peel the electrode off the skin and immediately place it back on the original
plastic backing sheet. Then store the pads back in their protective packaging.
The adhesive side must remain clean. The manufacturer advises against washing these electrodes and
applying conductive gel to the adhesive surface. Gel can actually damage the adhesive layer. If a pad starts to stick less well over time, E-Stim Systems says that a few drops of plain tap water can sometimes help to restore the adhesive strength somewhat.
Experimenting Safely with Placement
Apply the pads to clean, intact skin and preferably connect the cables before increasing the intensity on the power box. Make sure the two pads do not touch each other. Always start at the lowest setting and gradually increase the intensity until the stimulation feels pleasant and clearly noticeable.
Never use electrosex equipment in a way that allows the electrical current to pass through the chest, heart, neck, or head. E-Stim Systems recommends placing these pads below the waist. Stop immediately if the stimulation feels painful, sharp, or burning.
