Use a water-based lubricant

E-Stim Systems recommends a water-based lubricant for its insertable electrodes, such as its own ElectroGel. This facilitates both insertion and proper electrical conductivity.
The manufacturer explicitly warns against using silicone-based and hybrid lubricants with this electrode. According to E-Stim Systems, condoms are also not suitable for use over the Decimator.
