A fully insertable bipolar electrode

An 8-mm difference in diameter may seem modest on paper, but E-Stim Systems points out that, in terms of volume, the Medium is about 2.5 times as large as the Small. With a three-dimensional shape, diameter simply tells only part of the story.

Large – Ø 50 mm

The E-Stim Electro Egg Large has a diameter of 50 mm, a length of approximately 73 mm, and a weight of about 301 grams. This makes it clearly the largest model in terms of both diameter and mass.
According to E-Stim Systems, the Large has roughly twice the volume of the Medium. So, if you compare the Small directly to the Large, you’re not simply looking at the same egg with an extra 20 millimeters in diameter: the total volume and weight increase significantly.
The Large is therefore particularly appealing to experienced users who are specifically looking for a fuller, heavier insertable electrode. This is the egg where the word “Large” truly earns its keep.

Fixed cable approximately 1.5 meters long

Reinforced Cable End

The manufacturer states that this cable tail has been tested to withstand a tensile force of more than 12 kg. Combined with the rounded bottom, it is designed to allow for the controlled removal of the Electro Egg after use.
Of course, this does not mean that 12 kg is suddenly a usage guideline. Inserting and removing it gently remains a considerably more elegant strategy than testing just how much British engineering can actually withstand.

Mirror-polished metal contact parts

The Electro Eggs are manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum. The two conductive halves are then polished to a mirror-smooth finish.
This not only gives them their characteristic glossy appearance. The smooth surface and the strongly rounded shape also ensure an electrode without pronounced ridges, edges, or other textures.
E-Stim Systems manufactures the Electro Eggs in its own workshop in the United Kingdom. According to the manufacturer, the color of the insulating ring may vary.

Use a water-based lubricant

Use a sufficient amount of water-based lubricant with the Electro Egg. E-Stim Systems recommends its own ElectroGel, among others. A suitable water-based lubricant aids insertion and simultaneously supports the electrical contact between the electrode and the body.
The manufacturer advises against using silicone-based or hybrid lubricants with the Electro Egg. According to E-Stim Systems, condoms are also not suitable for use with this electrode.

Cleaning Requires a Little More Care

Unlike various disassemblable E-Stim electrodes, the Electro Egg must not be taken apart. Furthermore, the fixed cable means you should not submerge it in water for extended periods.
First, disconnect the electrode. Then clean the surface with warm water and a small amount of mild, fragrance-free detergent, a suitable toy cleaner, or medical-grade wipes. For disinfection, E-Stim Systems recommends 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Do not use corrosive or strongly alkaline cleaning agents. The manufacturer advises against boiling the Electro Egg or sterilizing it with steam. Be sure to carefully clean the area around the cable outlet as well, without submerging the electrode for extended periods.
Then dry it with a clean, lint-free cloth and let it air dry completely before returning it to the included protective case.

Lifetime warranty on the electrode

The Electro Egg is one of E-Stim Systems’ Premium Electrodes and comes with a lifetime manufacturer’s warrantyfor the original purchaser, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

Safe Use

Connect the Electro Egg while the power box is turned off, and always start with the intensity set to the lowest level. Then increase it slowly. Please note that due to their different contact surfaces and sizes, the Small, Medium, and Large models may not necessarily feel identical at the same setting.
