Your body sends out subtle signals just before an orgasm. The
Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor was developed to make one of those signals measurable and then use it to automatically control compatible DG-LAB devices. The sensor connects to a compatible
inflatable butt plug and detects changes in air pulses caused by internal muscle contractions. When paired with a
Coyote 3.0 or
Opossum Vibrate Controller, the stimulation can then be adjusted in real time. The result is a highly technical edging experience: not only do you respond to the toy, but the system also responds to you.
It’s important to know exactly what you’re buying here. This product consists
exclusively of the Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor with the accompanying connection components. An inflatable butt plug and the device that ultimately provides the stimulation are not included. The Civet itself does not produce any vibrations or electrical impulses. Think of it as the system’s senses: it detects what’s happening and transmits that information.
How does the Civet Edging Sensor work?
The technology revolves around air pulse. The Civet is connected to the air system of a compatible inflatable butt plug using the included hoses and T-connector. Once the plug is properly inserted and inflated, changes in air pulse within that closed system can be measured.
Muscles in the pelvic region contract as sexual arousal changes. Such contractions can affect the pressure on an inserted inflatable plug. The Civet registers these pressure differences and converts them into data that can be used within the DG-LAB system.
In doing so, this small black module accomplishes something quite remarkable: a mechanical change in your body becomes a digital control signal. Your muscles, as it were, press invisible buttons.
Edging That Responds to Body Signals
The main application is
automatic edging. Using the accompanying software, the measured pressure changes can be linked to the stimulation of a compatible device. When the system detects changes that, according to the set configuration, indicate increasing arousal, the stimulation can respond accordingly.
Depending on the connected device and the selected settings, the intensity can, for example, be reduced, adjusted, or temporarily paused. This creates a feedback loop: stimulation triggers a physical response, Civet measures that response, and the system then uses that measurement to readjust the stimulation.
Civet does not magically predict exactly when an orgasm will occur. It works with measurable changes in pressure and the configuration you set yourself. That is precisely why experimentation is part of the system: the sensor must, as it were, learn to work in tandem with your physical reactions and settings.
Civet with the Coyote 3.0
The
Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor is compatible with the Coyote 3.0. The Coyote provides the electrical stimulation; Civet supplies the information needed to control that stimulation responsively.
That distinction is important. Civet does not generate electrosex signals on its own and is not a replacement for a Coyote Powerbox. In this combination, you can think of it as a system with three separate functions: the inflatable plug indirectly registers muscle pressure, Civet measures the pressure changes, and Coyote provides the electrical stimulation.
Civet with the Opossum Vibrate Controller
The sensor can also work in conjunction with the
Dungeon Lab Opossum Vibrate Controller. In that case, the measured pressure changes are not used for electrical stimulation, but to control the vibrations of the Opossum.
This makes the Civet appealing to users who want to try the responsive edging concept without e-stim. The Opossum uses four mini bullet vibrators in two separately adjustable channels and functions as a standalone vibration system. Civet adds body feedback to that.
Why is an inflatable butt plug necessary?
The
Civet is a pressure sensor and therefore needs something in which pressure changes can occur. That’s why a suitable inflatable butt plug is necessary. The sensor is connected to the plug’s air system via the included T-connector and short tubing.
A standard solid butt plug cannot fulfill this function. An air chamber is needed whose pressure can change due to bodily contractions. The inflatable butt plug is therefore not an optional accessory, but an essential part of the measurement system.
The inflatable butt plug is not included with this version of the Civet. Therefore, check in advance whether you already have a suitable plug or need to purchase one separately.
Sensor, Not a Standalone Sex Toy
Simply unboxing the Civet does not give you a complete edging system. The sensor measures, but it does not stimulate. For actual use, you need at least a suitable inflatable butt plug and a compatible device that can process the measured data.
Currently, the Civet is used in combination with the Dungeon Lab Coyote 3.0 and the
Dungeon Lab Opossum Vibrate Controller. The former focuses on electrostimulation, the latter on vibration. Civet serves as the smart bridge between bodily response and control.
What’s included?
In addition to the compact Civet module, you’ll receive the components needed to integrate the sensor into a suitable air setup. The included T-connector splits the air connection, while the two short tubing pieces are used for the connection. A charging cable and user manual are also included in the package.
The sensor itself features a compact rectangular housing in black with gold-colored DG-LAB accents and an integrated display. The design clearly aligns with the technical aesthetic of the other equipment within the Dungeon Lab ecosystem.

FAQ
Can I use the Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor on its own?No. The Civet is a sensor, not a standalone stimulating sex toy. A suitable inflatable butt plug is required for measurement. Additionally, for responsive stimulation, you’ll need a compatible device, such as the Dungeon Lab Coyote 3.0 or Opossum Vibrate Controller.
Does the Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor come with an inflatable butt plug? No. This product version includes only the Civet sensor, T-connector, two short tubing connectors, charging cable, and user manual. A suitable inflatable butt plug must be purchased separately.
What exactly does the Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor measure? The Civet measures changes in the air pulse within a connected inflatable butt plug. Physical muscle contractions can alter that pulse. The sensor detects these changes, which can then be used within the DG-LAB system for responsive control.
Does the Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor work with both Coyote and Opossum?Yes. Civet supports the Dungeon Lab Coyote 3.0 and the Dungeon Lab Opossum Vibrate Controller. With Coyote, the signals can be used for responsive control of electrostimulation; with Opossum, for adjusting vibration stimulation.
The
Dungeon Lab Civet Edging Sensor transforms edging from a matter of timing into an interactive feedback system: measure, respond, adjust, and start over. A small black box that becomes particularly interesting because of what your body tells it. Your order will be shipped quickly and in completely discreet packaging, ensuring that the technology behind your experiments remains strictly private.
