Why three contact zones?
In a traditional bipolar insertable, there are two conductive contact areas on the electrode. Together, these two areas form the electrical circuit. The Tripple adds a
third separate contact zone.
The three zones are located at the base, in the middle, and at the tip. This allows you to create different combinations using a standard single-channel cable: The Tripple is therefore not simply a plug with an extra metal ring. You actually choose which parts of the electrode become part of the circuit. Three contacts, combined with two connected cable plugs, already yield three possible combinations—a small piece of electrical engineering that creates a surprising amount of flexibility.

Although the Tripple was specifically designed with the
E-Stim Systems TriPhase Cable in mind, you don’t necessarily need that cable.
With a standard E-Stim 4 mm cable and a single-channel power box—such as the ElectroHelix—you can connect two of the three 4 mm sockets. You can then choose between base/middle, base/head, and middle/head.
According to the manufacturer, with E-Stim power boxes featuring asymmetric outputs, even swapping the two cable plugs can result in a difference in character.
A compatible 4 mm cable is required and is not included with the Tripple as standard.
TriPhase: All Three Contacts in Action

The TriPhase Cable combines both channels into a configuration with
three electrical contact points. This allows all three contact zones of the Tripple to be used.
Important: this does not suddenly create a third independent power box channel. The TriPhase Cable uses two existing isolated channels to control the three contact points. That is precisely why this configuration is particularly interesting for equipment that is compatible with it.

Small – Ø 37.5 mm
The
E-Stim Tripple Small has a diameter of
37.5 mm, making it the most compact model in the series. The total length is approximately 110 mm, of which about 76 mm is insertable. Weighing approximately 269 grams, the Small is also considerably lighter than its larger counterparts.
In terms of body diameter, the Small is comparable to the Small Torpedo. This makes this model a logical choice if you’re primarily interested in the three-contact technique and don’t want to jump straight to the larger diameters.
Medium – Ø 50 mm
With the
Triple Medium, the diameter increases to
50 mm. The total length is approximately 125 mm, and the maximum insertable length is approximately 87 mm. The weight increases to about 497 grams.
The diameter matches that of the Large Torpedo. Medium thus represents a significant step up from Small but remains well below the two largest Tripples.
Large – Ø 56 mm
The
Tripple Large measures
56 mm in diameter, has a total length of approximately 140 mm, and an insertable length of about 101 mm. With a weight of approximately 724 grams, mass also begins to play a significant role here.
In terms of size, the Large falls between the Medium and the substantial XL. This is not simply a Medium given a slightly more impressive name for marketing purposes: the diameter, length, and weight all increase significantly.
XL – Ø 62.5 mm
At the top of the range is the
Triple XL. With a diameter of
62.5 mm, a total length of approximately 150 mm, and a maximum insertable length of about 110 mm, this is by far the largest model.
It weighs approximately
915 grams. E-Stim Systems compares the size of the XL to its Stuffer. That immediately indicates the class to which this variant belongs: here, “XL” is not just a decorative addition to the product name.

Water-Based Lubricant for Insertion and Conductivity
E-Stim Systems recommends using a
water-based lubricant with the Tripple, including its own ElectroGel. A suitable water-based lubricant facilitates smooth insertion and ensures good electrical conductivity between the metal contact zones and the body.
The manufacturer strongly advises against using silicone-based or hybrid lubricants with these electrodes. According to E-Stim Systems, condoms are also not suitable for use with the Tripple.
Fully Disassemblable for Thorough Cleaning
All four Tripple units can
be taken apart for cleaning. This provides access to seams, contact points, and other areas that require extra attention on a multi-part metal electrode.
Turn off the power box, disconnect all cables, and disassemble the electrode. E-Stim Systems recommends mild, fragrance-free soapy water, a suitable medical-grade cleaning solution, or a toy cleaner. Do not use alkaline or corrosive cleaning agents; these can discolor the surface.
For disinfection, the manufacturer recommends 70% isopropyl alcohol. According to E-Stim Systems, the electrode can also be boiled or steam-sterilized, although this may cause some discoloration without affecting its performance.
Allow all parts to air-dry completely before reassembling the Tripple and storing it in the included protective case.
