Everything you need to know about Liquid Latex
Rimba Natural Liquid Latex is liquid latex which can be used very easily to cover the body with a latex layer. Due to the special properties of this product, Rimba Natural Liquid Latex is perfect to use as a body paint material and you can paint latex garments directly on the body. Rimba Natural Liquid Latex vulcanizes itself at room temperature and forms a strong and elastic rubber.
What do you need †
1 jar of Rimba Liquid Latex (available in various colours)
1 disposable brush or soft spatula.
1 hair dryer to speed up drying.
Preparation:
Make sure that the skin that you are going to cover with latex has been depilated. Provide the skin with a thin layer of body lotion or vegetable-based oil. Make sure that you do not use too much lotion or oil because then you will notice that the liquid latex does not adhere well to the skin. Be careful with liquid latex on the face, at least avoid the eye and mouth area. Work in a room with plenty of fresh air. Protect the work area from spills or splashes. Although liquid latex almost never causes problems, you can first apply a small amount to the arm to be sure to test for allergic reactions.

Use a brush or spatula to apply the liquid latex in a thin layer. Right awayblow dryer you can ensure that the latex dries faster. Then you can apply the next layer. Continue this until the desired thickness.
The removal †
Once the latex has hardened, you can easily pull it off the skin. If things get a bit more difficult, you can use lukewarm water and soap.
Rimba Liquid Latex should not be used if:
- you have very sensitive skin.
- you are allergic to ammonia, sulfur and latex.
- your skin is damaged (think of wounds).
- remove the liquid latex in any case after a maximum of five hours
- avoidcontact with eyes
